LIFE WITH MY pilot was great. I missed him terribly when he was gone, but knew he was mine and would be back soon. The moment he got back from each trip he drove home, packed a bag, and came right over. I had spent a couple of nights at his apartment, but Ace wasn’t comfortable and kept barking at people outside of the window. He was used to my place with a lot of land, not an apartment complex. We decided later to stay at my house to keep him happy.

Ace took to Radek just as he had to me. He protected him when the two of them went out to run errands by barking at whatever people were around and ran alongside him when they went for jogs along my property.

The paparazzi even went to my business with Aubrey and tried to get her to answer questions. She was polite, never giving anything away. The small amount of attention they had given her and our business meant more clients which made her happy. What made Aubrey happy, made me happy. She deserved it.

When not with Radek or Aubrey I would go hang out with Anna, my best friend. She had a way of taking my mind off of everything and making me laugh my ass off. It also helped that every time I visited her I got to hold her beautiful baby girl.

October came fast and next thing I knew we were on our way to Kansas for my dad and Karen’s wedding. We arrived three days prior to it with Rob and Natalie in tow. My dad invited them to the wedding as well and they both were excited to attend.

On the flight there I found out that Natalie and Rob had become an item. It was an unlikely match to me. Natalie was more polite and reserved where Rob had a temper, but as the saying goes, opposites attract.

Our days leading up to the ceremony were full of fun. Dad had planned a spa day for Karen and I while he took Radek golfing. Golfing. I still couldn’t picture him swinging a club, but apparently he was pretty good at it. One more thing I didn’t know about him.

Before we left to go to the spa, Radek pulled me aside to ask where we were going. His jealous side went into overdrive when I told him I was going to get a massage. While Karen loved the massage Troy gave her, she later confessed she would feel more comfortable with a woman doing it.

We did go to the same spa he worked at though. It was the best around and dad only wanted that for us. I assured my pilot that his hands were the only male hands that would be touching me. With reluctance, he watched as I went off with Karen and later that night he made sure to show me who I belonged to. What he didn’t expect was me doing the same thing back to him.
